Yogyakarta — The Faculty of Social Sciences and Political Science (FISIP) of UPN Veteran Yogyakarta successfully held a special event titled "Campus Visit Alumni" on Saturday, December 14, 2024. With a warm atmosphere filled with stories from the past, dozens of alumni from various batches attended, with some even traveling from outside the city to relive the cherished campus ambiance.
This event served as a valuable moment to strengthen the bond between the faculty and its alumni. The Dean of FISIP UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, Dr. Susanta, M.Si, emphasized that maintaining a good relationship with alumni is a priority. "FISIP always cares about its alumni, and we hope that alumni will also continue to care for their alma mater," he stated enthusiastically.
The campus atmosphere, usually bustling with students, transformed into a space filled with nostalgic stories. Alumni not only reunited but also enjoyed sharing experiences and inspiration about their current careers. Some even shared tips on navigating the increasingly dynamic job market.
"Being able to return to campus and meet old friends is truly priceless. The campus facilities have become even more impressive, but the family-like vibe remains the same," said one alumnus who now works in the national media industry.
It is hoped that events like this will continue to be a regular agenda for FISIP UPN Veteran Yogyakarta, further strengthening the relationship between the faculty and its alumni. After all, alumni are an essential part of the campus journey in shaping great generations.
Thank you to all the alumni who attended. We look forward to seeing you at the next Campus Visit with even more inspiring stories and achievements!
