LPPM and FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Hold SINTA Clinic for Lecturers

Yogyakarta, October 16, 2025 — The Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta, in collaboration with the Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), held a SINTA (Science and Technology Index) Clinic on Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the FISIP building.

SINTA is a national online portal that serves as an integrated information system and research database for Indonesian academics, researchers, and lecturers. In simple terms, SINTA functions like “Google Scholar” or “Scopus” — but specifically designed for Indonesia’s academic and research ecosystem.

The session was led by Dr. Dhimas Arief Dharmawan, S.T., Ph.D., Head of the Intellectual Property and Publication Center at LPPM UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. The event ran smoothly, with lecturers showing great enthusiasm and engagement throughout the discussion and consultation sessions.

Participants consulted on various topics, including how to manage their SINTA accounts, synchronize Scopus IDs, and integrate publications with the GARUDA (Garba Rujukan Digital) portal. The clinic provided valuable hands-on guidance to help lecturers enhance the quality, visibility, and impact of their research nationally and internationally.
