FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Conducts Lecturer Mobility Program and Signs Cooperation Agreement with the University of Bengkulu

The Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP) of UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta carried out a Lecturer Mobility program at the University of Bengkulu from 5 to 8 November 2025. The program was attended by six faculty members and leaders of FISIP UPNVY: Dr. Ida Wiendijarti, M.Si. (Head of the Department of Communication Science); Dr. Muh. Edy Susilo, M.Si. (Vice Dean for Academic Affairs); Virginia Ayu Sagita, M.I.Kom.; Dr. Dra. Susilastuti DN, M.Si.; Sika Nur Indah, S.Sos., M.I.Kom. (Coordinator of the Communication Science Study Program); and Yuseptia Angretnowati, M.A.

The Lecturer Mobility program began with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement (PKS) between the Dean of FISIP at the University of Bengkulu and the Dean of FISIP at UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta. This agreement serves as an institutional foundation for both faculties to implement collaborative initiatives in line with their respective functions and authorities.

The objectives of the cooperation include improving the quality of the academic community and strengthening institutional capacity. The scope of collaboration covers several strategic areas, including:

  • Development of education, research, and community service;
  • Joint research;
  • Joint community service programs;
  • Focus Group Discussions for collaborative scientific publications;
  • International conferences and joint publications;
  • Provision of experts, reviewers, or resource persons for technical guidance, publications, workshops, guest lectures, and seminars.

The implementation of this Lecturer Mobility program marks an important momentum for strengthening academic networks, fostering scientific collaboration, and opening opportunities for long-term partnerships between the two institutions. Through this initiative, FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta reaffirms its commitment to enhancing the quality of the university’s tridharma and expanding its academic contributions at the national level.
