FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta Conducts Faculty Exchange Program at LSPR Jakarta

FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta has once again expanded its academic network through a Faculty Exchange Program held at the LSPR Institute of Communication and Business in Jakarta from 21–24 October 2025. Three lecturers from FISIP UPNVY participated in this program: Mochammad Fauzul Haq, M.I.Kom., and Yudhy Widya Kusumo, M.A., from the Public Relations Study Program, as well as Meike Lusye Karolus, S.Sos., M.A., from the Communication Studies Program.

The program commenced with the signing of a cooperation agreement between the Dean of FISIP LSPR and the Dean of FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta at the LSPR campus. The signing ceremony was also attended by the Vice Dean for Student Affairs and Collaboration of FISIP UPNVY, Agussalim, Ph.D., marking the faculty’s strong support for sustainable academic partnerships.

Dr. Susanta, M.Si., Dean of FISIP UPNVY, emphasized that UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta remains committed to building collaborations with various institutions, both nationally and internationally. The partnership with LSPR is expected to serve as a productive platform for strengthening knowledge exchange, research collaborations, and academic engagement in the field of communication.

The cooperation agreement covers several strategic areas, including educational development, joint research, and community service. Both institutions also agreed to support collaborative scientific publications, the organization of international conferences, and the provision of experts, reviewers, or guest speakers for academic activities such as workshops, public lectures, seminars, and technical guidance.

This Faculty Exchange Program marks an important milestone for FISIP UPN “Veteran” Yogyakarta in enhancing its academic standing in communication studies, broadening collaborative opportunities, and fostering shared growth among higher education institutions. Through this initiative, FISIP UPNVY reaffirms its commitment to delivering adaptive, relevant, and competitive higher education.
